San Jose Mineta International Airport (SJC) was named the winner for Video and Film Production at the 2023 Airports Council International-North American (ACI-NA) Marketing & Communications Conference. The award honored the ‘Fly Simple’ campaign, developed in partnership with GALE, which was part of a larger brand identity refresh launched earlier this year.
GALE worked with SJC on all aspects of the brand refresh, including the design system, website, radio spots, OOH, and social. The ‘Fly Simple’ campaign includes a collection of spots focused on highlighting the simplified experience travelers can expect at SJC, infused with a touch of humor.
SJC’s Marketing Manager, Jill Stone, noted: “This award is the outcome of an excellent partnership between our marketing team and creative agency, GALE. The ‘Fly Simple’ video series captures perfectly what makes SJC standout most – that we’re the Bay Area’s most smooth and dependable Airport. And it didn’t hurt that it had the judges laughing out loud.”
The overall campaign was also a finalist in the Brand Identity and Special Events categories.
