Following the prestigious accolade of Campaign US Advertising Agency of the Year and a period of rapid growth, Business Agency GALE has added creative veteran Josh Braithwaite as Managing Director, Creative. Effective immediately, Braithwaite plays a pivotal role in shaping GALE's future trajectory, bringing a rich track record of driving business impact through creativity and strategic acumen.
Braithwaite joins from Crispin Porter Bogusky where he was Chief Creative Officer. He has held numerous top roles at esteemed agencies, including Mother and 72andSunny, where he earned acclaim for his integrated approach.
With a global perspective cultivated through leadership roles in Sydney, Hong Kong, Los Angeles, and New York, Braithwaite brings a unique perspective to GALE. Over the past decade, he has orchestrated numerous creative milestones, including the creation of Adidas’ acclaimed global platform, "Here to Create," propelling the brand to new heights in the competitive US market and launching Google's iconic "Ok Google" platform, which led to 72andSunny being recognized as one of Fast Company’s 50 Most Innovative Companies.
“GALE has experienced unprecedented growth over the last four years and arrived at our next challenge: redefining creativity once again. Today, the definition of creativity has never been broader and our ambition is to continue to blend data, creativity and consulting to drive results for our clients. Josh joins Geoff Edwards and Jason McCann in the newly created role of Managing Director, Creative. This new role requires the perfect blend of integrated thinking and business acumen to help our clients' businesses grow through the use of creativity,” GALE CEO Brad Simms said.
“GALE has quickly become one of the most envied agencies for its modern approach and ability to drive business results for clients,” Braithwaite said. “GALE was an obvious choice as it represents the next wave of creative storytelling. I can’t wait to add to the team’s momentum.”
In conjunction with Braithwaite's appointment, GALE has expanded further with the addition of several hires, including Group Creative Director Felipe Cruz, Senior Copywriter Joshua Lampley, Associate Creative Director Mila Bengoa and Director Brand Strategy Carlos Rodriguez Angulo, among others.
These appointments support the agency’s recent growth. In Q1 2024, GALE experienced its best quarter ever and has added a number of new business wins, including Cotton, Fogo De Chao, Athenahealth, Chili's, and Papa Johns.
